Petra Vlhova has her sights set on victory in the overall World Cup this winter. But the Slovak is now also on the road in the speed disciplines. Last weekend her results started off very well with twelfth place in the downhill and 19th place in the Super-G. In both races, the 25-year-old won World Cup points and thus defended her lead in the overall standings.
Vlhova with three wins in four slaloms
On Tuesday, however, she wants to compete for victory again and the conditions could well be worse because Vlhova has won three out of four-goal runs this winter. She was at the top of the podium twice in Levi and most recently in Zagreb. Petra Vlhova even delivered a good race in fourth place at Semmering.
The route in Flachau also seems to suit the Slovak very well. She took third place on the Hermann Maier slope for the first time on the podium five years ago. Women’s slalom on January 12th, 2021 in Flachau – outsiders
