Young Boys – Statistics & current form
For the first time in the club’s history, the Young Boys from Bern have reached the round of 16 of the Europa League. The last time the Swiss achieved a similar success was in the 1987/88 season, when in the European Cup Winners’ Cup in the round of the last eight, of all things, they lost to Ajax Amsterdam. History could repeat itself on the next two Thursdays.
The team of coach Gerardo Seoane will not give up without a fight, especially since the yellow-blacks impressively demonstrated in the previous round in the games against Bayer Leverkusen (4: 3, 2: 0) that they should not be underestimated.
