Napoli vs Torino Betting Tips

After their superb 1-0 win at Serie A (SA) leaders Juventus in round 34, Napoli completely messed up away to Fiorentina last weekend and crashed to a 3-0 defeat, once again falling four points behind in the race for the Scudetto. Anything less than a win here against Torino will more than likely see Juventus crowned champions in this round.
The crushing defeat last round was Napoli’s first loss in eight games and means the long wait since the glory days of Diego Maradona and their last title in 1989/’90 will most likely continue. Their qualification for next season’s Champions League will be little consolation in a season that promised so much.
Torino have had a mediocre season and sit in mid table with nothing to play for. The 1-0 home loss to Lazio last time out marked their second straight loss and four games overall without a win (D2, L2). Away from home, they’ve only managed one success in the last eight SA games (W1, D4, L3).
Drawing games has been a problem for Torino this season and if they had managed to turn some of their joint league-high 14 draws (six home, eight away) into a few more wins, Europa League qualification would have been on the cards.

Players to watch:

Defender Kalidou Koulibaly (NAP), heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, scored that important goal at Juventus (1-0) two weeks back and has five for the season.
Iago Falque (TOR) has an impressive return of 11 goals and eight assists this season and should return to the squad after missing the last game through injury.

Stat attack:

Napoli have scored a league-high 13 goals from corners this season.
Napoli have gone 12 home games in all competitions without a draw.
Ten of the last 12 goals Torino have conceded have been in the second half.
Torino have lost the last five games against Napoli, with all five featuring over 2.5 goals.
