Galatasaray – Barcelona Free Betting Tips
After a goalless draw at the Camp Nou in the first leg, Galatasaray are trying to pull off a big surprise by eliminating Barcelona, the team that had handled the first leg with ease.
The fact that Galatasaray’s fans haven’t had much to cheer about this season, that they almost certainly won’t be playing in any European Cup next season and the fact that they drew in the first leg at Camp Nou, make me expect a fiery atmosphere in Istanbul.
Galatasaray is in an incredible 11th place in the championship round, 9 points ahead of the relegation zone. They lost in the penultimate round to 2nd place Konyaspor 2-0, a match that was played before the round against Barcelona, and in the last round, in the derby played at home against rivals Besiktas in the last round, Galatasaray managed to win 2-1, thanks to goals scored by Arturkoglu in the 22nd and 32nd minutes, both from Mostafa Mohamed’s passes.
On the other side, Barcelona played in the weekend just gone. They beat Osasuna 4-0 at the Camp Nou to stay in 3rd place, but the gap to leaders Real Madrid is 12 points, which seems almost impossible to make up in the 11 remaining rounds, given that the capital team is also playing well.
Looking at Barcelona’s last 10 matches, and comparing them, I realize that something went wrong in Barcelona’s attack in the second leg. I think in the first leg the Catalans caught that “when nothing comes your way” day, that’s why I expect in the return leg to sell them by solving the qualification problem, as they did in the previous round against Napoli, when they drew 1-1 at Camp Nou and won 2-4 in Italy.
